made change on all rpi devices when I made change on one device - lpt2007 - 19th Jan, 2019 07:43 AM

Hi,

I try to figure out if it is possible to make changes on one kodi - rpi running xbian. Then somehow auto transfer to all rpi's in my network. Like an update.

Now I must go to every room and make changes manually or take sd card out of rpi that have changes and backup it and then restore back to all my rpis (take out sd card from each rpi).

Anyone find easyest way?

Sure, think about the use of rsync.

If you have identical hardware and setup, this could be the way to keep them synced. You have to consider if there are some unique files (for example /etc/network/interfaces, /etc/hostname and of course the ssh keys).
