I am running M-TVGuide for my EPG along with the Pluto addon. Whenever I click on a channel I want to watch from within M-TVGuide the screen flickers but if I click on the channel directly out of the Pluto addon it plays without flickering. It does not matter the channel that I click on out of M-TVGuide it always flickers.
Would this be an issue with the OS or with M-TVGuide since Pluto plays without issue?
Contacted the programmer for M-TVGuide and he stated that the add-on is using the built-in Kodi player. He also mentioned that it might be some sort of Kodi, inputstream.adaptive or rtmp setting.

Sorry, I do not know both addons at all
But I would say that it is somehow the handling of the M-TVGuide if the start from the channel works fine
