Samsung update messes up Xbian - castalla - 17th Feb, 2013 03:51 AM
I use a flirc dongle to get keyboard control using a Samsung SmartTV remote. This worked brilliantly until last week - after a Samsung TV update. Now, certain keys I had remapped just lock up Xbian. I had CEC disabled - didn't seem to make any difference.
I reinstalled Xbian - same problems. Disabled CEC again. So far keys working ....
Is there anyway to remove the CEC plugin completely?

SSH into your pi xbian-config will popup, now go to System -> Connectivity -> Video-ouput -> and enable "Disable CEC".
