YouTube addon failure - b0rna - 17th Dec, 2012 03:38 PM
I keep getting the error:
Login Failed "False" error when trying to loginto the YouTube addon. And it wont let me browse without login.
I recall with a previous build of Raspbmc (which i dont prefer due to the slowness of the menus), YouTube was working fine.
I'm wondering if this is an Xbian related issue.

i think that this might be the addon issue after update to version 3.3.0

You could also post your /home/xbian/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log here. (post it on pastebin and link it here)

Hi all,
I've got the same, or similar, problem with youtube addon 4.4.1. I could log without error but I'm not able to explore favorites, nor suscriptions.
I didn't try the fix commented in the other post cause I've supposed it's not valid for current version.
Any help?

Like an add on from xbmc, or unzipping and replacing the folder?

Login ok, but can't explore nor access my favorites or suscriptions
Edit: it works, I think it only need reboot.

today the Youtube addon 4.4.3 is bugging again,
so in the meantime can you try install this 4.4.3b update fix from zip and it should fix it
