unable to connect when playing/stream wifi - roffer - 19th Mar, 2013 07:51 AM
Hi got 2 pi's one with wi-pi and another with tp-link tl-wn821n usb adapters that connects to network with wpa. but the problem is, if i start a stream, im not able to connect ssh,airplay or remote control. even ping stops reply.. but it stil plays the radio stream. everything works grate with network cable.
shuld this be a problem ? any sugestions what this could be ?

im running the 1.0Alpha5 the power supply is the old iphone charger, everything is default exept a autoexec.py gile that starts a radio stream when xbmc is in the menues.

Nothing strange in the logs, can you try a different (better) power supply?

dont think i have any other, i have tried new iphone, htc, and another i dont remember the name, but with these wifi starts and stops. so seems like the charer i use now is ok. but can check if i can buy another one tomorow. any recomandations ?

everything above 1Amp (I prefer 2Amp) is fine.

looks like it was my fault, i had trouble with wpa2 in the bginning therfore i added a virtual wlan on my dd-wrt with wpa, not shure why i could not connect but anyways reconfigured the wireless on the pi to the default network and now it works.
