the best possible way Wink analog audio out on RPi is HW poorly done and I would not suggest to use it anyway if is not really necessary

@rikardo1979 its not really the best, because I have 2 devices powered on where I could have one == electricity wasted. also in earlier builds I had no problems with it. this is temp at most to me and not desired in long term. anyways seems I have to retest it because maybe the problem was introduced after upgrade, will report later.

I am new to Xbian, Raspberry Pi, and Linux in general. I installed a fresh copy of Xbian 12.1 Frodo. However i can't seem to get any of the streaming add ons to work. Do I need to update librtmp? If so, any suggestions or links to how?

RE: Official XBMC 12.1 (xbian-package-xbmc 2.1) discussion - Ghwomb - 10th May, 2013 07:57 AM

I try to upgrade to Frodo from vanilla install of XBian 1.0 Alpha 5. The upgrade goes smoothly, but when I start XOT-Uzg.v3 I get the error that SVT Play only works with Frodo. So it seems that XBMC never gets upgraded.

When I run
Code:
apt-cache show xbmc
I get the following:

Code:
Package: xbmc
Version: 2:11.0~git20120510.82388d5-1

The part
Quote:Version: 2:11.0~git20120510.82388d5-1
seems to indicate that I still run version XBMC version 11.

If it is any help apt-get upgrade holds back five packages. None of them titled xbmc.

Everything else is working perfect. It is only that I get stutter when I try to stream from the aforementioned site. Any help deeply appreciated!

That was my fault, I was just telling apt to show a package and misinterpreted the result. So therefore I thought it was installed, which it isn't.

But I still don't understand why XOT-Uzg.v3 complains why I don't have Frodo installed.

The relevant package information, I think, should be the following:

dpkg -l | grep xb

Code:
ii  xbian-package-cec               1.0                        armhf        cec for XBian.
ii  xbian-package-config-shell      2.0                        armhf        Configuration utility for XBian.
ii  xbian-package-config-xbmc       1.0                        armhf        Configuration utility for XBian.
ii  xbian-package-firmware          1.3                        armhf        Firmware for XBian.
ii  xbian-package-kernel3.6.11      1.2                        armhf        Kernel 3.6.11 for the Raspberry Pi.
ii  xbian-package-lirc              1.3                        armhf        Remote controller deamon.
ii  xbian-package-xbmc              2.2                        armhf        XBMC for XBian.
ii  xbian-update                    1.0-0.5                    armhf        Updates XBian 1.0 Alpha 4 to Alpha 5.

and

dpkg -s xbian-package-xbmc
