Web site/forum issues - please report - Koenkk - 21st Mar, 2013 12:36 AM

Hi everyone,

Our site is currently down due to technical issues, we hope to be back soon. Updates about this will be posted here.

To be clear: it has nothing to do with a hack, DDOS or anything like that. XBians latest update (of XBMC) just pulled a lot of visitors and the host decided the load of the website became too high. The webmaster has fixed it and the lifting of the forced downtime is requested.

Site is up and running again (more info: http://xbian.org/2013/03/website-back-online/ ). Thanks for your patience.

Hi
I can assure you I'm not a newbie and that's the firs thing I had tried.
I also tried opening the same page from a friend's pc who did non even know what xbian was, so for sure he had not cached the page.
Trust me, that page has just this content:

Code:
</body>
</html>
<!-- Dynamic page generated in 1.188 seconds. -->
<!-- Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2013-03-26 17:08:05 -->

<!-- Compression = gzip -->

..maybe you have it cached?

Thanks for the kind reply Smile
I immediately checked.. and now even the front page is blank! (i suspect that the culprit is that "WP-Super-Cache")

Frontpage works fine here. Try to clear your cache

If you had read the the post above you'd know that it is not a cache issue.
Your (or your provider's) caching software is still serving the old, blank page.

ilgrank is right. Supercache is kicking in way to hard and fails too many times. Gonna solve this asap.
