just finished to instull xbian to RPI tried to turn off xbmc I clicked stutting down system on the power bar ....now nothing its working
How do I restore the sd card?

sudo fsck.ext4 -pf /dev/ur_sd_card

What u mean not working?
Did you try go power off/on? what is it doing? can you be more specific?

red light on ,I can't format sd card do I need another sd card?

what you mean you cant use the card? what OS do you have on your PC and how you trying format your card?
you need to write more details,be more specific as it is not easy help if we do not know what you do and how you do it

Did u know that when the PI goes OFF it flashes the ACT led 10 times?
