Subtitles addon not working - Muertomatao - 3rd Apr, 2013 09:16 PM Hi there. I have latest xbian version installed. I have the RPi connected via ethernet and a mouse and a HDD on the usb. When i play a video, I can't download subtitles for it. I just click the subtitles icon, get the window saying that I have no subs plugin installed and I click to install one. Then, a window just opens and closes instantly. Is there any way to solve this? I've been googling for 2h but didn't find a clue. Thank you! Re: Subtitles addon not working - rikardo1979 - 3rd Apr, 2013 09:39 PM just go to System>Add-ons and than XBMC Repository and install Subtitles add-on than do all necessary settings within addon and only after all thus is done you would be able to use it RE: Subtitles addon not working - Muertomatao - 4th Apr, 2013 04:33 PM (3rd Apr, 2013 09:39 PM)rikardo1979 Wrote: just go to System>Add-ons and than XBMC Repository and install Subtitles add-on Thanks, will try tonight and post results RE: Subtitles addon not working - johnny67 - 9th Apr, 2013 05:07 AM (3rd Apr, 2013 09:39 PM)rikardo1979 Wrote: just go to System>Add-ons and than XBMC Repository and install Subtitles add-on I have the same issue over here. Try to force refresh XBMC.org Add-ons repository RE: Subtitles addon not working - johnny67 - 9th Apr, 2013 05:52 AM (9th Apr, 2013 05:46 AM)rikardo1979 Wrote:(9th Apr, 2013 05:40 AM)johnny67 Wrote:(9th Apr, 2013 05:15 AM)rikardo1979 Wrote:(9th Apr, 2013 05:07 AM)johnny67 Wrote:(3rd Apr, 2013 09:39 PM)rikardo1979 Wrote: just go to System>Add-ons and than XBMC Repository and install Subtitles add-on Thanks for your answer. RE: Subtitles addon not working - rikardo1979 - 9th Apr, 2013 06:14 AM please can you write step by step how you proceed and what addons categories you see under XBMC.org repo ? Ok. I did the force update. I'm actually using the german language setup, so i hope my translations are accurate. My menu shows the following entries: Photo addons Screen saver Services Movie info Music addons Program addons Skin Song text Video addons Web interface. Can you try look under System>Settings>Add-ons>Get Add-ons>All Add-ons ? If I do that I can see zero entries. i guess the easiest thing probably is to do a fresh install from scratch. What is also weird is as soon as i close my putty connection, the system goes to blank screen. i will try again tomorrow. Thank you. |
