CPU% when TV is off - Lupurus - 4th Apr, 2013 08:21 AM

Hi,
is it possible to "slow down" XBMC, when the TV (connected over HDMI) is off? I've connected via SSH and "top" shows me, that xbmc.bin permanently needs about 30 % or more of the CPU.

Sometimes I need this CPU, because I also have installed apache.

You could script the XBMC service to stop if your TV has CEC.

Yes, my TV has CEC. But how can I do this?
