HAMA MCE Remote - dennis - 8th Apr, 2013 03:53 AM

First of all .. thx bartotten ! Wink

Hiho guys, i´m very new to raspberry / xbian / linux, so please forgive me some noob mistakes. I will try my best. Smile

After testing rasbmc and xbian i choose xbian cause it works fine for me, the only thing what will not work is my HAMA MCE Remote which works fine with rasbmc and i can´t figure out where the problem is.

My Problem:
The Remote simply works but i can´t get the context menu working. Every Button i try for just works like the back button (info, right click, hash key)

My Setup:
Raspberry Pi B @ 900 MHZ
Xbian 1.0a5
Hama MCE Remote (link)

With this guide i get no return from mode2

What about output from irw? Does the device even use lirc or is it using a generic USB interface that maps keyboard commands?

I get Yatse for Android and XBMC Constellation for iOS.

The HAMA remote was only for my gilfriend, and actually i spent 3 days with several posts and Google for this and i can´t get it working.

Now i need my time for more important things. Big Grin
