How can I verify is the ir circuit is working - loknar28 - 14th Apr, 2013 01:59 AM I harvested a ir module from an old Sony DVD player. No part number listed, however the center pin has a bit of physical play, so I assuming that is ground, or just bad. I have wired it with a 4.7uf cap from +3.3v pin 1 on ir to ground and a 100 ohm resistor in series to pi header pin 1 +3.3v, signal pin 1 goes to header pin 12 - gpio 18 and ground goes to header pin 6 pi ground. So, how can I test that the pi recognizes the hardware. I just want to make sure I am chasing the right tail, Thanks, RE: How can I verify is the ir circuit is working - kraleksandr - 14th Apr, 2013 04:21 AM Terminal mode2 Re: How can I verify is the ir circuit is working - f1vefour - 14th Apr, 2013 08:02 PM Make sure you modprobe lirc_rpi module and run service stop lirc first. |
