tightVNC & Xbmc - grymcent - 15th Apr, 2013 01:54 AM so, i was going through the raspberrypi.org guides and installed tightvnc on a Wheezy build no problems. SO i thought why not on Xbian. well it installed perfectly fine... of course it wants to see the startx gui, and I wanted to vnc the xbmc gui. can I do this? How? cheers RE: tightVNC & Xbmc - CurlyMo - 15th Apr, 2013 02:12 AM Search the forum because this is a duplicate. RE: tightVNC & Xbmc - grymcent - 15th Apr, 2013 02:31 AM i saw lots of thread about problems getting it to install, but i didnt find any about changing the gui the vnc points to and non about tight vnc. If i've missed it, please drop me a link so I can find it RE: tightVNC & Xbmc - CurlyMo - 15th Apr, 2013 02:40 AM http://forum.xbian.org/thread-494.html?highlight=vnc Also explains why it doesn't work and isn't going to work. RE: tightVNC & Xbmc - grymcent - 15th Apr, 2013 02:46 AM thanks. it a jargon issue. as a relative noob to linux and RPi i didnt know that X11 was startx gui. feel free to delete thread |
