Hi All
I am a noob so please excuse me if I seem dumb......I am not sure if this thread is inn the correct place.
I have installed xbian and then installed 1channel. I believe it to be running very slow (30seconds or so per selection) to navigate to anything in 1channel. Is there anything I can do to speed up the navigation?
I am running xbian 1.0a5
Raspberry Pi 2 (512ram)
4GB SD Card
wireless network adaptor
I can try to obtain a log file if required.
Please help........

not sure what you mean by "slow", can you be more specific ?
slow GUI movement or playback or what is slow ?

slow as in waiting upto 30 seconds for the "working" bar at the bottom to move to the next sub list.
Example -
press TV Shows
(wait 10 seconds to load)
Press Most Popular
(Wait 30 seconds to load)
Press "The walking dead"
(wait 30 seconds to load episodes)
Select episode
(Wait 30 seconds)
Select server
(wait 30 seconds for show to start)
Plays Ok
If you get what I mean.

this could be related to
-slow SD card
-your broadband connection speed
-actual addon
-server load which the addon using
My test results are anywhere between 5-15 seconds when switching between categories and same or less when play the actual files

Thanks guys, will try a faster SD card first and will get back to you.
Can you advise on the best card to use?

Okay so I've already applied to fix my 1 channel is working perfectly.
But everything takes a really long time to search, the little working progress bar takes a very long time for everything.
When I do the same search on my computer is lighting quick.
If I get an sd card with faster transfer speeds will it speed up that little working progress bar?
Also it seems to be taking more time than before is it possible my card is corrupt?

merged into this one, no need to have multiple threads for one thing!
this kind of add-ons are the dodgy ones and not many people like to discuss about them on their forums (us included).
I would say the best place the answers would be on their git or the site which support it (you know who they are).
for now I leave this thread open but may consider close/delete in future(depends on replies)

queue for 1channel doesn't work, when I try to queue from upnp, it's fine, but any 1channel video can't queue. Why?

Well for me it's not slow. It works fine. I just can't queue a video after another. Is there some post I'm missing? Are you showing me that I need a different /class 10 sd card in order to queue one video after another? That doesn't sound right...

Do you have the plugin "watchdog" installed? If you do uninstall and it will work fast again.
