Preparing takes forever and a file is downloaded with the name of the current directory part of the filename. So a file called "Xbian-installer-WindowsXbian_1.0Beta2.img.gz" is downloaded where Xbian-installer-Windows is the directory name from the installer. KB |

I recompiled the installer using mingw-32, can you redownload and check if it works without the Visual C++ Redistributables? https://sourceforge.net/projects/xbian/files/installers/XBian-installer-Windows.zip/download

This installer does not work on Mac OSX 10.4
You need to specify what fruit version it works on. Ideally all versions, as there is old hardware out there. Please read before you post How to post a log file If you liked my help, click on "Thanks" to show your appreciation.

RE: Installer (26-11-2013) complains about missing msvcp110.dll
So what's the problem with installing Microsoft Visual Studio or C ++ ? This software is free and you can easily find it on the official microsoft website. Another good decision will be strictly download msvcp110.dll file if reinstalling didn't help you. You can find this file in dll libraries, for example http://fix4dll.com/msvcr110_dll
