USB Microphone
I want to incorporate a karaoke option in xbian/xbmc. Is it possible to get a USB mic to work under xbian beta2.

It is possible to get a microphone to work on Raspbian, even Karaoke, but I think you are out of luck to get it to work on XBMC with a Raspberry Pi.
So it should work on native xbian, but unlikely to work within XBMC. This is because the microphone needs ALSA, which XBMC doesn't use (afaik). I have a USB microphone, I'll give it a go over the next couple of days, but I don't expect much success.
