With the major improvements in Xbian since the early days, IMHO, nearly all hardware works, with the exception of a few remotes and even then, they work - just not as expected!!
Maybe we just need a new thread. "List of Hardware that DOESN'T work"

Unit Raspberry Pi 1 B @turboo OC
Tested peripheral hardware that works without flaws: USB WIFI NIC Bolse N300 USB WIFI NIC TP Link TL-822N USB wireless keyboard RiiTek (not Bluetooth). I will update this list when i test more. :) :) |

Ovislink Airlive WL-1700 USB Tested on Xbian and Kali on a Pi 1 B. :) :) |
