I also recommend Class 4 cards, I have had no problems with SanDisk Class 4 cards.
I have a 16 gigabyte and two 4 gigabyte cards that are a couple of years old. The 4 gigabyte cards read at about 18MB/s and the 16 gigabyte reads at around 22MB/s.
