Webserver configuration

I have installed the webserver package on my Xbian Beta 1.1. Installation went smooth. I can browse to home page on xbian's ip address and get "It works" page.

Question is how do I configure the webserver. ie add directories, change configuration etc. where are the configuration files located?

any help is greatly appreciated.

PS. main need for web server is to be able to download my tv episode using a web browser so my friend can use my media when needed. should I use FTP instead?
