I disagree, to me it is far from clear.
On the first link there are 5 files, all with the same date and no indication at all of which files work with which versions of Xbian or even why there are 5 files that all do the same thing... Similarly with the second link, two files, all with the same date and no indication of which ones to use with which versions. You said yourself that one of them has a problem with halting, but that's not mentioned at all on those pages, so how are people going to know? It would make a lot of peoples lives less stressful (and make xbian a more user friendly product) if there were a look-up that simply stated that if using xbian version x, then use these file versions here. So now I have the 'xbian package 1.4-3.deb ..... I am a noob, what should I do with it?* Thanks for the reply. Skywatch *Polite answers only please! ![]() |
