An easy option would be to use the already existing tmpfs and put the files just under /run.
Do you have an example of the best/fastest rsync command for the task? For example to sync these files: cat /home/xbian/.xbmc/userdata/Database/*.db cat /home/xbian/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/script.common.plugin.cache/commoncache.db |
