You are getting some weird USB error messages.
[ 40.155158] usb 1-1.3.4.1: device descriptor read/64, error -110 [ 40.345054] usb 1-1.3.4.1: new high-speed USB device number 9 using dwc_otg [ 45.764753] usb 1-1.3.4.1: device not accepting address 9, error -71 [ 45.845293] usb 1-1.3.4.1: new high-speed USB device number 10 using dwc_otg [ 51.264949] usb 1-1.3.4.1: device not accepting address 10, error –71 [ 401.544498] usb 1-1.3.4.1: Product: My Passport 0730 Which all relate to the WD These could be due to a suspect hub. Do you have a spare that you could try? What is the amperage of your RPi power supply? You could try removing the HUB and plugging your KB and WD directly into the RPi – it might work just for testing.
