Extract the image and dd (disk dump I assume is what the command stands for) directly to your SDCard. Terminal dd if=/path/to/image of=/path/to/sdcard I can't be specific as your SD may be in a USB adapter or whatnot. Be very careful with dd as you could write to the wrong disk/partition.
