Is the installer on Windows 7 or 8?
Something doesn't look right - especially the owner and group of the files in /boot - they should all be root:root. There is definitely a problem. - Probably no init. If you edit cmdline.txt and remove quiet and loglevel=0, save and reboot you should see where it is failing. Best solution is to download the .img file and write it with win32diskimager.
