I've create an FTP Server for testing and try to reproduce the issue...

ftp host: ec2.is.gy

user/password: (none, anonymous login is okay)

you can add this as a video source in XBMC

and you will find three directories

one of them contains Chinese characters

Can anyone access the directory successfully?
