XBian DEVEL and STAGING repositories

ok, now i am pretty sure it is xbian and not me... i have confirmed the exact same setup on both rc1 and staging, and lirc is not responding to my remote in staging. any suggestions on how to troubleshoot? when i changed all my configs to match those in rc1 irw now does not receive anything. very strange

<edit>ok, started over with a fresh beta2, upgraded to rc1. didn't touch anything, remote works fully OOB with no configuration, irw sees it and all buttons work. upgraded to staging, no response from irw, some buttons work. rolled back to rc1 (btrfs-auto-snapshot rollback), still no response from irw. i'm going to do it again to reconfirm, but any suggestions on what to look for will be appreciated.</edit>
