Hi Jontp,
welcome to XBian! Let's have a look on the XBMC wiki: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=XBMC_Quick_Start_Guide#Adding_videos_to_the_library There you can see in detail how to setup your movie library. You can also add any directory as source via the context menu. (press "c" to open) If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.
