As menakite has already implied: You don't need to compile it by yourself and you even don't need to follow the how-to posted by f1vefour.
All you have to do is: Terminal sudo apt-get install unrar and you will get the nonfree version.... My setup: Software: XBian version: 1.0RC3 | XBMC version: 13.2 (Gotham) | Overclock settings: High Hardware: RPi model: B | Power: DUB-H7 | SD: Tanscend Class 10 | Network: Wireless |
