[SOLVED] XBMC unable to find /dev/sda

Try mounting it manually.

Terminal

mkdir /home/xbian/tempmnt
sudo mount - t ntfs /dev/sda /home/xbian/tempmnt

Replace ntfs if that isn't the filesystem type and if that doesn't work try /dev/sda1 in the mount line.
