Stuck on starting xbmc

Hey there,

I just "crashed" my xbian installation but wanna backup my files.

When I start the raspberry its stucks on "starting xbmc" shoing the running process bar and after a few min the proccess bar stucks too.

I dont realy need to get the OS working again but I wanna backup my files and config.

I dont know how to get a terminal on boot

Can anybody help me?
