Skin, script or core function?
I am new to XBMC. I'm making the switch from Windows Media Center to a Pi with xbian.
I used the MyMovies plugin for MCE to manage my movies and tv series. One feature I've not been able to find in XBMC is "play random unwatched episode." I have several TV Series that don't really have a "watch order." Modern Marvels is a good example. Each episode is stand-alone, and you don't *have* to watch them in order. I've been looking for a way to (at least) add this function to a context menu in the TV Shows interface. Ideally, I'd like the ability to set the default behavior for each series. So, my question is this: Is this something that is done by a skin, a script or in the core of XBMC? I'm no stranger to coding, but have never used Python before. So, if this needs to be coded, I want to know where to start looking. Obviously, if it's something in the core of XBMC, I won't mess with it. But if I can create an add-on that gives this function, or even modify an existing one, that would rock. What do you all think? |
