Can you try disabling watchdog:
Edit /etc/watchdog.conf, so make sure these lines look like: Code: # Uncomment to enable test. Setting one of these values to '0' disables it. And make these lines match: Code: # This greatly decreases the chance that watchdog won't be scheduled before Now run the following command and reboot: Code: sudo update-rc.d watchdog remove Also, i just tried the biggest file i got (17,1 GB) and the XBMC system load was in general 50-60% in Turbo mode on a 256 RPi.
