Reboot resets all configs
First of all, make sure you did not switched the read ony hardware switch on your sd card.
If not, can you try exiting xbmc via XBMC -> Power menu (Left bottom) -> Exit XBMC. When XBMC Is closed you will see a bash login prompt. Now pull out the power and check if the settings are saved.
