Can you try the following:
- Restore a fresh image - In the fat partition open the config.txt and change core_freq=375 to core_freq=300 - Check if it is fixed now  Also make sure you shutdown the pi properly (In XBMC -> Power menu (button is in the bottom left corner) -> Shutdown -> Wait till only the red LED on your pi burns -> Pull out the power.
