Bug tvheadend frontend disconnected madness
Hello!

My RPi runs xbian 1.0 beta1 with xbmc 12.2 and the tvheadend frontend for live tv streaming. It connects to another machine running the tvheadend 3.2 server.

When I don't want to watch tv, I would like to power down the remote machine. The problem is, as soon as I do so xbmc complains about it with the notification:

Tvheadend HTSP Client
Disconnected from 'HTS Tvheadend'

This message pops up every few seconds and telling from my gigabit switch it also tries non stop to reconnect to the tvheadend server.

I already enabled the "Do not show 'connction lost' warnings" to no avail.

The desired behavior would be to show this notification once on the initial connection lost and while selecting the Live TV menu option when there is no connection. Reconnecting could be done via zeroconf announcement or polling with an bigger interval like 2s.

RE: tvheadend frontend disconnected madness
Have you tried it on Beta 2? It might solve your issue.

It doesn't sound like an Xbian problem, more an issue with the Addon.

I don't use TVheadend, so after that I have no idea.
