Help with ATI theater remote (Philips RC 1523741/01B)
I cannot get all the buttons to work, same as others on this site (only the arrows, power, and ok button work). Links to my dmesg and lsusb -v here: http://pastebin.com/Ecwx1JEU & http://pastebin.com/ExgFGusV. running irw does not recognize any button presses. however if i run the commands
Code:
sudo cat /etc/lirc/remotes/mceusb.conf >> /etc/lirc/lircd.conf
sudo service lirc stop
sudo service lirc start
sudo service xbmc restart
In SU mode and then run irw it does recognize all my button presses. However resetting the device stops it from reading again until i rerun the above codes. Any help please??

RE: Help with ATI theater remote (Philips RC 1523741/01B)
do you have any module specified related to remotes in /etc/modules ?

autodetection for includes of the various .conf files relies on module loaded first and reported in "dmesg" output.
