Movies database not updating.
Hi all,

Did a search on the above with no hits, so here goes.....

Seems that the movie database is not updaing from the SMB share on the nas for some reason.

Have the same issue on 2 pi's both with xbian 1b1.1 on.

The SMB link to the files works OK, so it's seeing that. But anything added is not showing. Even after selecting 'clean db' from the system menu and 'scan for new content' in the video>files menu.

Any ideas on this one?

Thanks

Skywatch.....

RE: Movies database not updating.
Have you had a look in the xbmc.log?

ssh into the RPi then tail -f -n 10 ~/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log

Then update your library again and see if any messages appear. It may be that the structure of your movies does not fit the expected search routine.

I don't use this part of XBMC so can't really assist anymore
