Alpha 5 reboots automatically.
Hi all,
Today I installed alpha 5 on 8GB card. Everything went fine, XBian started an wireless configure. But then, the problem started, it starts rebooting every now and then. I configured wifi after 3-4 reboots and testing few samples. Now if I go to add ons page or try to download an add on, my system reboots. Any help ? |

Re: Alpha 5 reboots automatically.
Had the same, even after using a powered USBhub. Solved it by using a better fitting usb cable for the power to the Pi. Some are just too loose

RE: Alpha 5 reboots automatically.
Hi all,
Thank you very much for your suggestions. I will try both the suggestions. BTW, I should thank Xbian developers for providing a good XBMC port for my RPI. I was using WDTV Live Plus. But it is too slow. I wanted to make RPI my primary HD player. |

RE: Alpha 5 reboots automatically.
Hi,
I connected a 2A adaptorand connected wifi dongle directly to RPI USB port instead of using Hub. it is working fine now. Thanks. I am getting another issue. I will start a new thread. Thanks DM |

RE: Alpha 5 reboots automatically.
I just sent a donation. I see the donation page is in Dutch and I didn't see the ability to switch to English or another language (manually changing the "nl" in the hyperlink to "en" or "ca" didn't work). It was easy enough to interpret what the pass4sure 200-120 brain dumps
Dutch text says, even without google translate, but others might me scared off. |
