RE: News link from an hdd to another
I removed the links, rebooted and they have not reappeared.

No idea when they appeared or how.

I have not tried to delete the link, I was afraid that I deleted some 1tb of movies!

I noticed that the link is created only if both HDD are mounted, if I turn off one, the link disappears, and reappears when I turn on the HHD.

@turk. I plugged my USB HDD into a Windoze machine and deleted the links there - just for safety.

RE: Symbolic link from an hdd to another
I've just checked my main machine and they are BACK - well at least one of them.

I have a WD 2TB HDD configured as Movies and TV (Each 1TB)

The link is back in Movies. TV -> media/TV but not in TV (yet)

Something is going on - the link is dated 7/1/2014 which I think is about the date I upgraded. Upgrade log date confirms this.

Is there anyway to find out? I didn't take a note of them as I generally upgrade the test machine and wait a couple of weeks before I upgrade the main machine.

If I remember correctly, it wasn't many CEC, and possibley scripts but cannot be sure.

Will keep an eye out when I next upgrade.
