xbian turn off guest access?
hello!
i have installed my newly aquired raspbmc media center with xbian. great! when i connect from my mac (with the finder- connect to server) to the rasp, i can use a guest account. i want to turn that off and instead want to create a dedicated user. can i configure that within xbian? if yes, how? thx sw |

RE: xbian turn off guest access?
I'm sorry but "raspbmc media center" are you using Raspbmc or Xbian?

RE: xbian turn off guest access?
@swinxx,
there is xbian-package-usbmount in version 1.0.5-1b and higher (1.0.5-2 preferred) and SHARELT=yes/no parameter in /etc/usbmount/usbmount.conf . if set to yes, writes should be limited to "xbian" smb user (in case RW access is allowed). ((if RO access is configured and SHARELT=yes, read access is restricted to user "xbian".)) Please read rules and do a search before you post! . FAQs . How to post log file? . Looking for answers?
