| [Question] mv function takes so long.
Does anyone know why it should take so long to move a file. I'm moving from /xbmc-backup to /home/xbian Both file systems are on the same SD card. It takes about 5 minutes to complete, whereas on any other OS it's instant. Please read before you post How to post a log file If you liked my help, click on "Thanks" to show your appreciation. | |||

Because you are effectively moving between partitions (BTRFS subvolumes).
