Feeding several devices
Hi guys,
I have a simple question. Can I feed more than one device with an Raspberry Pi with Xbian? Up to now I had a TV set connected to the Pi, but now I bought a projector and I would like to have that connected, too, without changing cables every time I want to watch something. Or is that in no way possible and I need another Pi? Thank you. |

RE: Feeding several devices
I guess you could use an HDMI splitter but I've never tried. Nor can I say what the output will look like.
If you want the TV AND projector on at the same time, then it should work, however, if you want to have one or the other you'll need a switchable unit. Looking at what's available - as you'll need a single input and multiple outputs, the cost is about the same as a RPi. RE: Feeding several devices
I would go for another pi if it were me.
A HDMI splitter will only do one thing and when you no longer need it it'll be junk. A pi on the other hand will be able to be used as many things in the future if you no longer require it for the TV or projector. Skywatch |

Okay, then another Pi it will be.
Can you tell me, how to make an exact copy of the SD card? |
