Wondering if Xian RC 2.0 will work as is on RPi B+ model?

Just checking before I buy.

It does (should), though you need another Raspberry Pi to update the firmware (you can use a microSD to SD adapter); see https://github.com/xbianonpi/xbian/issues/575 (updated images are linked there too)

Thanks. I have one model B
so should be able to use it to prepare SD card for B+ model.
