Erropr when installing

Hi all:

I'm getting same error everytime I try to installl Xbian:

"an error occured when attempting to write data to handle.
ERROR2.The system could not locate the specified file"

What am I doing wrong ???

How are you installing? Blindly I would guess the file you downloaded is corrupt.

I'm using the windows installer to install on a sd card, for my raspberry.

I tried both rpi options that come with windows installer but I always get the same error.

Download the image and extract it:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/xbian/

Then write it with this:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/

Make certain you select the correct drive when using win32diskimager.

I've never had an issue with either Xbian installer or win32diskimager.

As @f1vefour mentioned is almost certainly a corrupt image.

For the best results. Format the SD card first.
