RE: Update not working
Well, it was a bit premature on my part.

The problem was a wrong gateway address in the 'old' image taken before FTTC was installed. So that is what it looks like when a wrong gateway is set in xbian-config..........

*But now I get the upgrade problem again*

Update goes OK, Upgrade goes OK, then reboot and.... no XBMC.bin running. Not in 'top' either ???

Sudo service xbmc start seems to work (no errors and service number reported), but still nothing in top and nothing responding from the xbmc web server.

Looking at the FAQ and wiki I can't see how XBMC is supposed to be started either automatically or manually.

I am stumped right now!

RE: Update not working
It's "sudo start xbmc" now. What does the log show?

Still no XBMC running! :0

I'll have a look at the logs and see what's there, in the meantime does this suggest anything?

Thanks
