[PROBLEM] Migration from OpenElec?

Hi everybody,

As it's my first post here I'd like to say hello at the beginning.

Being a long time OE user now want to switch to Xbian for it's underlying Raspbian. But of course want to do it in painless way, so would like to know how to transfer settings from OE to Xbian. Most important for me is configuration of my lirc IR Remote, as it took me a while to tweak it's settings. I suppose that for KODI alone it will be enough just to transfer lircmap.xml, bur what about lircd.conf and .lircrc?

I am going the opposite way. long time xbian user... but switched to OE due too slow upgrades and buggy builds lately.

I gave up too. There is almost no support on this forum, so decided to stick with OE. It have very good community support and works really well.

Yes there is little user support on the forum, the developers openly respond to github only.

The forum is mainly by users for users. The moderators and administrators here read along and post stuff to github for developers when necessary.
