Adding packages to xbian-config

Is it possible to add extra applications (e.g.: ftpd, transmission-daemon) to the xbian-config menu?

XBian version: Linux xbian 3.18.8+ (but I am about to reinstall it on a new SD card, so I will have the latest version.

Where in the menu?

For example in the Services menu.
Let me explain it better: if I install Transmission and FTPd, apart from not having them available in the Packages menu, later, once they are installed, they are not available in the Services menu either.

The last line in services says ... You can use that to manually add services to the list.
