hi can u help me pls
ihave a problem with kodi 15.2 when i play a movie on any add-on on my samsung tv the image is too big to fit my 42 inch it seems like 1/4 of the picture that im seeing . allready tried with the calibration and it cant fit .
pls help

You have to run calibration on each resolution and hz you use. Or only use one resolution and hz value.

make sure your overscan is not ON in your TV and also set screen ratio to 16:9 (all settings in TV not Kodi)
Thank if you still force problem try to find info about native resolution of your TV screen and add this into your config.txt it is going to be forced

Did you try out any third-party converter to for to change the resolution. I usually use wondershare and youtube to flac to change definition of my recorded gaming video.

By the way, if your video is a 1080p or 1440p one, you need to make sure the aspect ration is 16:9
