Swappines
Does anyone know why our current swappiness value is set to 60 or 70 depending on image used.
The default value for Raspbian is now set to 1 I really think - unless I can be convinced otherwise, that this should be our default value. I've done tests and cannot see any degradation, nor any excess usage of the swap file. RPi1 and RPi2. Considering the amount of SD corruptions, it might be worth considering. RE: Swappines
I'm sure @mk01 knows this
xbian-update does some performance tweaks and IMO it is better to have higher value https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swappiness Amazingly, at my old RPi1 there is 40 |
