Pine64 platform
Some of you probably know about it but there is this 64-bit Pine64 board
I have helped funded this project and today I have received one of these boards, PINE64+ 2GB
I looking forward to have some fun with it. Anyone else have one? ~~~~>>>Please always follow rules and read before you post<<<~~~~ |

No (AllWinner == very very bad support for open source)

RE: Pine64 platform
What a pity this wasn't the spec for the raspberry pi 3.....
Still, maybe there will be a raspberry pi 4 before the end of the year? |

They can even play 4k videoe with HW decoding but not within Kodi. My intention was and is to try multimedia. So Kodi or something else. If is not going to be any good it is going to end up on eBay ~~~~>>>Please always follow rules and read before you post<<<~~~~ |

RE: Pine64 platform
So maximum 30fps 4K, that wasn't very forward looking of them.

I do have 4k set, but ask me how much 4k stuff I watched on it in past 18months....I can tell you exactly...none...one big fat zero There is not much stuff available in 4k and I don't see it will be much more available in near future ~~~~>>>Please always follow rules and read before you post<<<~~~~ |

RE: Pine64 platform
Damn just checked, only 27 different titles (some shows) currently in 4K on Netflix.
That does suck, I thought it was much more. Please read rules and do a search before you post! | FAQs | How to post log file? | Can't find an answer? Contact us. |
